The CLISP model regions represent key areas for on-site work within the vulnerability assessment (WP4), the evaluation of the "climate change fitness" of current spatial planning systems (WP5) and the risk communication and governance process (WP6). In each model region, a standard work programme according to the work plans of WP4, 5 and 6 will be implemented. In addition, there might be addressed further issues of importance for the specific region.

In total 10 model regions in the Alpine Space (mostly NUTS 3-level) are part of the project.
